Rod and Margret Vernon moved to the Algarve in the early 1980’s after spending many previous years on holiday there. They decided to relocate like so many others looking to live the dream in the Algarve and give them selves and their Children a better quality of life.

They founded their first estate agency in Monte Carvoeiro in the early 80’s with satellite offices following in Lagos, the centre of Carvoeiro (now our main office), Portimão, Alvor and Rocha Brava complex.

After completing a tourism course at the “Escola Hoteleira” in Faro, Claudia started her professional career in the hotel industry, where she acquired strong customer service skills and the ability to work confidently with clients from all nationalities which helped to learn several languages among English, German, French, Spanish and more.

Following work experience in Germany, where she perfected her German language skills, Claudia joined Vernon Real Estate in 1999, where she has worked up to the position of manager.

Since then she has done Workshops and intensive courses in all areas related to real estate such as Sales techniques Marketing Property Evaluations taxation and legislation among others to improve her knowledge.   

With more than 10 years of experience of the Algarve’s real estate market, especially in the Carvoeiro area, Claudia is able to offer sound advice to both buyers and sellers alike.

India first joined Vernon Real Estate in 2005, after graduating in Accounting and Economics from Coventry University.

Fluent in both English and Portuguese, India has in depth knowledge of the Algarve property market, with her smile and sympathy she is always on hand to help our international clients make the right property choice for them.

Her main motivation is to advise the client to do the right purchase/deal … and those who have bought have never regreted it, rather, they have become a friend.
